Fight for Sailors’ Rights! – War of 1812 at Sea
A special day of programming by our official living history group
Sunday, June 17th
A full day’s program of demonstrations and hands-on activities on board USS Constellation bring to life the values and traditions of 1812-era sailors and marines whose esprit de corps and success at sea proved keystones in the formation of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The days activities will include both War of 1812 and Civil War interpreters to showcase the similarities and differences in life onboard during these conflicts.
