Overview of Support Opportunities
USS Constellation, USCGC Taney, USS Torsk, Lightship Chesapeake, and Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse are important symbols of our national heritage and are also valuable community assets.
Maintaining, restoring and preserving these sites for future generations to experience, enjoy and learn from is a responsibility we all share. People assume this responsibility in many ways. Many become Museum Members. Others make donations to particular projects or the Museum's endowment. Some volunteer their services or provide in-kind donations. All of these efforts help to keep the ship afloat.
The following pages describe the different ways that you can contribute. In return for your donation of cash, time, or services you will be thanked and recognized in a meaningful way for your time and effort. All contributions benefit the ongoing maintenance, restoration and preservation of the Historic Ships and also help to provide valuable educational experience for hundreds of school children each year.
