Annual Turnaround Cruise
As part of her regular maintenance program, USS Constellation leaves her berth at Pier I once each year by tug and returns to her berth with the opposite orientation so that the hull weathers evenly.
Due to needed hull repairs, the 2012 USS Constellation Turnaround will be abbreviated, with the ship being turned in close proximity to her dock. The Turnaround will take place on Thursday, May 24th. Constellation will leave her berth at approximately 8:00 am. The turning process is expected to take between 1 and 1.5 hours.
Visitors who wish to observe the Turnaround process may do so from the Inner Harbor.
